DC: February Colour Combo

Kathy picked a great colour combination for the Daring Cardmaker's challenge this week.

Cranberry, Slate Grey, Pale Grey 

and White

Lately I discovered grey as a colour that’s really easy to work with because it goes with most other colours.

I finally tried the chalkboard technique which I admired on several occasions on my fellow design team members’ blogs.

Kathy hat die Farben für die aktuelle Farbkombi Herausforderung bei den Daring Cardmakers ausgewählt, die am ersten Freitag jeden Monats stattfindet.

In letzter Zeit habe ich öfters grau verwendet und finde, dass es eine tolle, neutrale Farbe ist, die zu jeder anderen Farben passt. Und ich konnte auch endlich einmal die Schiefertafel-Technik (chalkboard technique) ausprobieren.

DC: Setting the Scene

I’m very excited about this week’s dare at the Daring Cardmakers. We challenge you to create a scene on your card with the help of stamps, embellishments, dies etc.

Firstly, the challenge - the theme is:

Setting the Scene

We'd like you to make your card your canvas for creating your own miniature world!  The theme is totally your choice and you can use whatever you like to create your scene - die cuts, stamps, embellishments - but please use various elements for the 'scene', don't just use one stamp!
