Svenja came up with a great idea for this week’s dare at the Daring Cardmakers:

It’s Svenja here and today it’s my turn to dare you. I’d like you to go for some

Heavy Metal.

Use metal in any way, metallic cardstock, metallic paints, tinfoil, wire… whatever!

I found one piece of metallic paper and had to use it with my new Christmas embossing folders …

Verwendet Metall in irgendeiner Form auf eurer Karte – metallisch glänzendes Papier, Metallfarben, Draht, Alufolie … was auch immer euch unter die Finger kommt.

Life's a Beach!

I'm hoping that you'll be just as inspired by my challenge - we're staying at the seaside for another week, but this time, instead of working with seaside hues I'd really like your cards to feature some Beach Paraphernalia; deckchairs, parasols, swimwear, flip-flops, buckets and spades, surfboards and sun-cream....the list of possibilities goes on, and on...

I recently replaced my old atlas and have lots of maps to use as card backgrounds now. Here’s my beach card with a lighthouse image.

Life’s a beach! Das Leben ist ein Strand!

Diese Woche möchten wir etwas „strandiges“ =) auf euren Karten entdecken: Sonnenschirme, Flipflops, Bikinis, Sonnencreme, Eimer und Schaufel, Sandburgen etc.

Ich habe neulich meinen alten Schulatlas ersetzt und habe jetzt jede Menge Landkarten, die sich super als Hintergründe eignen. Ich habe mich für einen Leuchtturm als „Strandmotiv“ entschieden.
