DC sentimental

So … here comes the new Daring Cardmakers dare:

 I would like to see words as your main feature,

and here is the twist!

Oh, I think I might have made it too easy … I picked my favourite sentiment “Herzlichen Glückwunsch”. You can use it on so many occasions. And here’s my favourite “Herzlichen Glückwunsch” stamp. I like the font, the size and that the sentiment is in a “box”.

Pünktlich am Freitag kommt die neue Herausforderung der Daring Cardmakers.

Gez möchte einen Gruß auf eurer Karte sehen, den ihr sehr gerne mögt und der euch, nach Möglichkeit, auch etwas bedeutet.

Oh, da habe ich es mir wohl etwas zu einfach gemacht. Mein Lieblings-„Herzlichen Glückwunsch“-Stempel.

Und diesen Stempel suche ich schon seit längerem und finde keinen: Schön, dass es dich gibt. Zum Glück gibt es einige Menschen in meinem Leben, denen ich das gerne mal sagen würde … und gerne auch immer mal wieder!

And this is a sentiment that I would love to have as a stamp: Schön, dass es dich gibt (something like: It’s great that you are there!). Luckily there are a few people in my life who would absolutely deserve this greeting!

Sharon had a great idea for this week’s dare at the Daring Cardmakers:

Old but not forgotten

Have a look through your stash and see what you can find - maybe you've still got some of the very first stamp sets you bought, or if you're like me, you've still got papers and embellishments because you hate to throw anything away.  

One of the first craft items I had were decorative edge scissors. I don’t use them very often and I was surprised how well they still cut.

DC February Colour Challenge

Leo picked the colours for the Daring Cardmaker's monthly colour combination dare.

Here is the inspirational picture.

The grey I used is quite dark, but it’s a good contrast to the yellow and orange.

Leo hat die Farben für die monatliche Farbherausforderung der Daring Cardmakers herausgesucht. Mein grau ist ein bisschen arg dunkel ausgefallen. Dafür ist dann der Kontrast zum gelb und orange sehr deutlich erkennbar.
