it’s the beginning of autumn today and the Daring Cardmakers have a new inspiration for you.

Dawn picked this week’s topic:

Change of season

I (Dawn) love this time of year once the season starts to change from summer to autumn and then we get to Christmas. So for this week’s challenge I want to see a seasonal inspired card. This could be a back to school card, a card filled ith autumnal colours, a cosy feeling card with lots of texture or even a Christmas card.

I’m usually not a person who makes Christmas cards early in the year, but strange enough I was really in the mood for glitter and Christmas trees etc.

So here you go: Christmas cards in September!

DC In the forest

 Hello crafty people!

Here is the new Daring Cardmakers‘ challenge:

I’m not sure if you are ready for autum yet 😉…

But here’s the next topic to get you crafting:

In the forest
Use some elements on your card that you can find in a forest: forest animals, plants, trees, paths etc. or create a forest scene (a realistic one or a fairytale?!) on your card.

I love forests and I think they are great in any season: cool in summer, so colourful in autumn, calm in winter and fresh and busy in spring. I can’t wait to see what you associate with forests.

 

DC September Elemental Inspiration

This week it’s my turn to pick a topic for the DaringCardmakers.

As always on the first Friday in every month we have an inspirational picture for you:

Pick three elements and use them on your card.

If all the leaves, the rain puddle and blanket is too autumnal for you … why not go for textures, floral/leaf elements or be inspired by the „work/writing“ element?! We can’t wait to see what you will make out of it!

I love September: it’s my birthday month, the new school year starts and I’m looking forward to getting my everyday life back.

But it’s also hard to say goodbye to summer. Especially after this very long and hot and awesome time… so let’s remind ourselves about the great sides of autumn and cooler temperatures 😊.
