Here I created an Africa/safari-inspired baby card… so I cheated a little as it’s not a travel card. But the parents loved it 😊.

Hello crafty friends,

This week we’re back in summer 😊and here’s the new challenge for the Daring Cardmakers!

I prefer warmth and sunshine and challenge you to use

summer drinks

on your cards.

Whatever you like to drink on hot days is fine and we’d love to see it: cocktails, lemon water, coffee (a necessity in every season 😉!), ice tea

… some fruit, other decoration or a straw are optional, but extra cute.

Finally I could use my cool cocktail glass again. I made cards for two teacher friends who long for the summer holidays as much as I …

I love the little shaker area and the fun cocktails.

I decorated the inside of the cards as well.

It’s July and Dawn from the Daring Cardmakers wants you to remember

Christmas in July!

So take the chance and start with creating your Christmas cards.

I recently bought a die set which had a deer in it. I thought it might be nice on a Christmas card. I enjoyed crafting, but I’m definitly not in a winter and Christmas mood yet 😉.

Here’s a shaker card.

And then I made another card with the scraps and the die cut leftover.

I was inspired by the butterflies, the colour combination and the string/tassels.

I created the circle in the background with distress oxide inks and added die cut butterflies and matching sequins.
