DC In the garden

 Hello, crafters!

The Daring Cardmakers have a new challenge for you.

Shabneez loves her garden and wants to see garden elements on your cards!

I used flowery paper and a butterfly on my card.

Actually I copied my own card that I found in my stash. I just don’t like the old version any longer. Now I have nicer paper and lots of dies instead of punches and cute sentiment stamps.

The butterfly is a spinner element and can move freely as soon as you open the card.

DC picture-perfect

 Hello, crafters!

The Daring Cardmakers have a new challenge for you.

And this week it’s my turn to set the challenge.

I want to see picture-perfect cards 😊!

Use a photo camera, a picture frame, a polaroid layout, an actual photograph or anything picture/photo related on your card.

I finally used my photo stamp set and tried to use as much of the stamps included as possible.

So I made a tri-fold card in a rather small size.

Here are some details. I coloured the „polaroid“ with water colours.

And the photo camera with copics. My friend gave me his old copics. He used to draw comics … so I now own skin colours (brown/beige etc.) and greys (for shadowing).

DC Peek-a-boo

 Hello, crafters!

The Daring Cardmakers have a new challenge for you.

Nat wants to see peek-a-boo cards.

Make a card that features an opening element, surprise element or simply an aperture.

I found a very old double-slider card that I wanted to re-create with colours, cardstock, images etc. that I like better.

The right side is empty so that I can write down a message for my friend.

On the left I tried to „continue“ the scene from the front of the card.

DC August elemental inspiration

Ooops… I’m very late this week! It took me a while to settle down and „arrive“ in my holidays and finally take some time for the nice things in life.

The Daring Cardmakers have a new challenge for you.

Joanne picked this great picture to start into August:

I decided to use coffee, gold elements and some text/words.

Here is a detailed picture of my new gold water colours. I like the subtle effect 😊.
