DC Non-cute Halloween

Svenja from our Daring Cardmakers team wants to celebrate this week. As she loves Halloween here is her spooky dare.

But now… as we’re quickly approaching October 31st… from treats to tricks: I’d like to see some

strictly non-cute Hallowe’en

themed cards.

Make it creepy-crawly-spooky-scary!
Maybe you’d first like to take a look a the design team’s creations? Beware!

Muuuuaaahhaahhhhaaaaaaa

Here’s my card … as spooky as I can =). I used transparent paper behind the pumpkin shape. So you could even use the card is a little paper Jack’O’lantern.

DC Tempting treats

Sharon picked the topic for the Daring Cardmakers this week.

She had a good idea for those grey and cold October days.

This week we would like to see your tempting treats!
As the year starts to come to a close and in the northern hemisphere as we slip towards winter, colder, darker mornings.. (I won't mention the rest !!)

Let's cheer our spirits with something tempting!

I definitely believe in comfort food. And here’s something that I find tempting …

DC What do you do?

It’s finally Friday again. And it was my turn again to set a dare for the Daring Cardmakers.

A good opportunity to ask a noisy question:

What do you do besides crafting?

I would love to know what you do for a living. Tell us about your current (or former) job and show us something "job-related" on your card (Computers? People? Office supplies? Clothes? Plants? ...).

If you would love to know what we all do for a living … have a look at our cards and see if you can tell.  Pop along and visit our blogs to find more information about our jobs and  see if you guessed right.

Here is my card.

And you guessed right if you think I might be a teacher. I am. This year I’m teaching both primary and secondary school. Grade 4  (10-year-olds) till grade 10 (16+-year-olds). Most days I love it =)

Klasse 4 – 10 bunt gemischt. An den meisten Tagen macht mir mein Job viel Spaß =)

DC October Elemental inspiration

It was my turn to host the current challenge for the Daring Cardmakers and because it’s the first Friday in October I picked an inspirational picture for you.

Pick three elements which inspire you and use them on your card.
The elements could be: vehicles, anything travel-related, hearts, the colours of the picture, the saying (or any other saying or quote you like), a marbled background, a (mobile) home, wheels, a window, a door, lettering in general as a large part of your card …

Have a look what the Design Team created and happy crafting!
