DC Country girl? City girl?

It’s Friday. And time for the Daring Cardmakers' challenge. Today it’s my turn to pick a topic.

This week let’s get to know each other a little bit better 😉 and let me ask the curious question:

Are you a city girl? Or a country girl?

What do you like about (living in) the city or the country?

Neon lights, public transport, lots of people, high buildings and a diverse nightlife make you happy?

Or do you need nature, calm, being outside and maybe having your own piece of „green“?

I grew up in a little village and I spend a few years in cities while I was studying. Now I’m back in a little town which feels very rural … and have to say: I’m a country girl.

And here’s my nature card. The thing that I love most about living in the country is being close to nature and spending time outside walking through forests, meadows and fields.

Dieses Mal war ich an der Reihe mir ein Thema auszudenken: 

Stadt oder Land? 

Liebt ihr es in einer großen, lauten Stadt voller Menschen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kulturellen Angeboten zu wohnen? Oder seid ihr mehr ein Landmädchen, das Ruhe und Natur braucht?

Ich bin in einem kleinen Dorf mit 2000 Einwohnern aufgewachsen, war zum Studieren in Städten und bin in eine Kleinstadt zurückgekehrt. Und sehr glücklich darüber. Ich bin ein Mädchen vom Land 😉.

Here a few impressions from today’s class trip to the observatory (in the vineyards). We walked one hour through the woods to get there … it was great!

Hier sind noch ein paar kleine Eindrücke vom heutigen Lerngang zur Sternwarte mitten in den Weinbergen. Wir sind eine Stunde durch den Herbstwald gelaufen bis wir dort waren … herrlich!

DC October Inspiration

Happy Friday, everyone. Let’s start into the weekend with the Daring Cardmakers challenge.

As usual our first challenge of the month is our Elemental Inspiration Challenge.  For October Leo has put together a little mood board for you and we hope you'll find plenty of inspiration to draw your three elements from.

Just pick at least 3 elements from the picture to use when making your card

I picked the washi tape, stripes, a cool quote, pink and flowers as my inspiration.

But actually I was really lucky because my lovely friend sent me gorgeous crafting goodies all the way from New Zealand … and they fit the bill perfectly.

Es ist der erste Freitag im Oktober und Leo hat ein cooles Inspirationsbild ausgesucht. Wählt drei Elemente aus und verwurschtelt sie auf eurer Karte 😉!

Ich habe das washi tape, ein tolles Zitat, Streifen, pink und Blümchen genommen und auf meiner Karte untergebracht.

Aber eigentlich hatte ich einfach Glück, dass meine beste und älteste Freundin mir zauberhafte Bastelsachen aus Neuseeland geschickt hat, die perfekt gepasst haben.
