DC: flower festival

Lythan is getting ready for the flower festival and picked “flowers” as the current challenge at the Daring Cardmakers.

The theme is
flower festival
There is going to be a flower festival at Lythan's church next week and everyone is working hard on their arrangements.
So I would love to see a festival of flowers on your card - or if you have hay fever perhaps just one!

I love flowers on cards as they are so versatile! This week I dug out an old stamp set that’s one of my all time favourite SU sets: “Vintage vogue”.

SU „Vintage vogue/Zeitlos“, Whiff of Joy „Deutsche Geburtstagstexte“

DC: June Colour Combination

Jo picked these lovely colours for the Daring Cardmakers' June colour combo challenge.

They reminded me a lot of summer … hence here’s my holiday-inspired card for this week.

  Material
Stempel/stamp:
Rico Design „Urlaubsgrüße aus dem Paradies“
Papier/paper:
My Mind’s Eye „Alphabet soup“, DCWV Cardstock Stack „Brights“
Washi tape:
Tschibo + ?
Werkzeug/tools:
Sizzix Bigshot, Embossing folder Sizzix/SU “Blumenranke”

DC: Make it yourself

Kathy picked this week’s dare at the Daring Cardmakers and she wants you to be really creative!

This week it's Kathy here with something for you to get creative with.
I think we've probably all saved links to wonderful projects and ideas that we'd like to try out....one day, so this week I'd like you to.....
 Make It Yourself
It's all about making your own embellishments.

I tried out a flower tutorial which I found a few weeks ago on this lovely blog. All you need is a piece of ribbon and a good adhesive. (I used double-sided tape and fixed the flower with my favourite liquid glue afterwards)

  Material
Stempel/stamps:
SU „En francais“, Dani Peuss Klartext „Kartengruß“
