Waxing
lyrical
Find a
way to incorporate wax into your project — it might be figuratively (an image
of candles, perhaps) or literally (e.g. use a wax crayon or candle to create a
resist, try out a technique like this or this with wax paper, break out the
encaustic wax and iron if you have them).
I used my
sealing wax + seal on the card. It helps to keep the feather in place … I’m not
sure if I love it though … it might look better on an envelope.
I hadn’t thought about the whole wax seal trend when I set the challenge — good thinking Miri! I think it’s made a perfect accent for the gloriously fluffy feather, love it!
