DC Back to Basics

Hello and welcome back. It’s Friday and I’m in desperate need for a weekend … I don’t even care if there will be another snow storm, rain or sunshine outside. I would love to stay in my cosy home and craft!

Joanne picked the topic for the Daring Cardmakers this week and she’d like to take us back to basics - choose one basic geometric shape (square, circle, triangle etc) and one primary colour (red, blue, yellow) and make them the focus of your design. You can add other shapes and colours as accents, just keep the focus on those basics.

I used my latest SU stamp set and picked (one of) my favourite colour(s) blue. You can see a similar card in the SAB brochure and I really like it.

 

So I copied the design with little variations and in different colours … and got carried away and forgot about the primary colours again 😉.

Sie nennt unsere aktuelle Herausforderung BACK TO BASICS. Verwendet eine geometrische Form und eine Primärfarbe auf eurer Karte.

Ich habe mein neustes SU Stempelset eingeweiht. Und weil mir die Karte in der SAB Broschüre so gut gefallen hat, habe ich sie sozusagen nachgebastelt. Und weil es so einfach, aber hübsch war, habe ich gleich mehrere Versionen gemacht …und irgendwann mal vergessen auf die Primärfarben zu achten … tja 😉
