DC Childhood (book) heroes

Svenja picked a fun challenge for the Daring Cardmakers this week.

It's Svenja here and I'd like to invite you to take a little stroll down memory lane this week. Do you remember the time when your parents would read a good-night story for you? And then the first books you read on your own? And probably over and over again just because you loved their characters so much... 

I'd like you to create a card to commemorate this time and your

Childhood (book) Heroes. 

Be it The Famous Five or The Three Investigators, Max and Moritz or Alice in Wonderland, the girls from St. Clare's or Peter Pan and Captain Hook or someone else entirely - who were the written heroes that accompanied you through your childhood and youth? 

My childhood heroes are the Three Investigators.

My brothers and me discovered the cassettes in our public library when we were quite little (when I was still too scared to listen to the end of “the mystery of the stuttering parrot” without my brothers). Later on I read the books and now I have most adventures of the investigators as MP3 files.

And Justus, Peter and Bob are my best crafting buddies.

Last year I even went to see a live performance of the speakers. Thanks C. for taking me with you.

Svenja von den  Daring Cardmakers möchte diese Woche die Helden eurer Kindheit auf euren Karten sehen. 

Da musste ich keine Sekunde überlegen. Seitdem ich mit meinen Brüdern Die drei ??? Kassetten in unserer Ortsbücherei entdeckt habe, bin ich ein großer Fan. Ich habe viele ??? Bücher gelesen und habe mittlerweile die meisten Abenteuer als MP3.

Justus, Peter und Bob unterhalten mich immer bestens, während ich meine Karten bastle.

Peter: Hätte ich doch nur auf meine Mutter gehört.

Bob: Wieso? Was hat sie denn gesagt?

Peter: Keine Ahnung. Ich hab ihr doch nicht zugehört!
