DC: August flowers (Poppy)

As always on the first Friday in a month the Caring Cardmakers want to see cards which use the flowers of the month as our starting point.

The August flowers are poppies and gladioli. I even own a poppy stamp so I used it as the main image of my card.

I’m also trying to reduce my leftover paper scraps … so I only stamped the image and the sentiment and combined it with scraps from my “scrap box”.

Wie jeden ersten Freitag im Monat möchten die Daring Cardmakers Karten sehen, welche die Blumen des Monats zeigen.

Die Augustblumen sind Klatschmohn und Gladiolen. (Ich muss gestehen, dass ich fast jedes mal googlen muss WIE diese Blumen überhaupt aussehen). Aber Klatschmohn kenne ich! Und da ich sogar einen Mohnstempel besitze, habe ich ihn als Hauptmotiv auf meiner Karte untergebracht.

Im Moment versuche ich auch meine Papierreste zu reduzieren. Also habe ich nur das Motiv und den Gruß „frisch“ gestempelt und mit meinen Schnipseln aus der „Restebox“ kombiniert.
