Hello crafters,
The Daring Cardmakers have a new challenge for you.
Shabneez
has lots of butterflies in her garden and wants to see
billions of butterflies
on your
cards!
I picked this very colourful paper pad which gives me summery
vibes. It’s a perfect fit with butterflies.
You will only see one butterfly on each card, but I think they
still stand out.
Have fun crafting!
Happy Friday, everybody!
Kathy picked the topic fort he Daring Cardmakers.
Pearl
I thought of using flat-backed pearls, pearl
strings, pearl buttons, pearlescent paints, mousse or card, Abalone (Mother of
Pearl) shell, but I'm sure you can think of more.
I love pearls! On this cards I used pearl glue to add some accents.
Hello
Joanne picked another great topic for the Daring
Cardmakers:
All taped up
Use washi tape on your card.
What a great opportunity to use some of amazing washi
tapes. I created a colourful and fun background with them.
As the tapes are weather-themed I added a cloud and stamped
the sentiment directly on it.
Hello again,
Joanne picked an old elemental inspiration picture for the Daring
Cardmakers.
I was inspired by the wooden elements, deer head and the
little tag. I combined the elements to make a Christmas card.
Hello crafters!
The Daring Cardmakers have a new challenge for you:
Bon voyage
Show us a travel-inspired card.
Here I created an Africa/safari-inspired baby card… so I
cheated a little as it’s not a travel card. But the parents loved it đ.
Hello crafty friends,
This week we’re back in summer đand
here’s the new challenge for the Daring Cardmakers!
I prefer warmth and sunshine and challenge you to use
summer drinks
on your
cards.
Whatever you like to drink on hot days is fine and we’d love
to see it: cocktails, lemon water, coffee (a necessity in every season đ!),
ice tea
… some fruit, other decoration or a straw are optional, but
extra cute.
Finally I could use my cool cocktail glass again. I made
cards for two teacher friends who long for the summer holidays as much as I …
The sentiment says: now is the best time!
I love the little shaker area and the fun cocktails.
I decorated the inside of the cards as well.
Hey crafters,
It’s July and Dawn from the Daring Cardmakers wants you to remember
Christmas in July!
So take the chance and start with creating your Christmas
cards.
I recently bought a die set which had a deer in it. I
thought it might be nice on a Christmas card. I enjoyed crafting, but I’m definitly
not in a winter and Christmas mood yet đ.
Here’s a shaker card.
And then I made another card with the scraps and the die
cut leftover.
Enjoy summer and collect sunshine and summer memories
for the
cold and dark times!
