DC What's cooking?

Yummy, it’s Friday! Get ready fort he Daring Cardmakers‘ challenge.

It's Joanne here this week and I'd like to know "What's cooking?" - it's a challenge with options! You could choose to use an item from your kitchen to help you make your project (think cling film backgrounds, spices in a shaker card, paint with coffee, stamp on a teabag, use cupcake cases to make a flower etc). Or if you don’t fancy raiding the kitchen you could feature an image of food. Extra brownie points if you manage to do both!

I used sprinkles (they are usually in my kitchen drawer with other baking goodies) on my card. The even look cute on a paper cupcake, I think.

Joanne möchte etwas zu essen auf euren Karten sehen oder/und Dinge aus der Küche.

Ich habe die kleinen bunten Zuckerstreusel aus meiner Küchenschublade heraus gekramt und auf einem tollen Aufklebermuffin verwendet. Sieht sehr lecker aus, finde ich 😉.

Hello, crafters! It’s the first Friday after our wedding… wow … a new calculation of time 😊.

But life goes on as usual. So here is the current Daring Cardmakers‘ challenge.

Shabneez picked the topic: Let’s go nautical!

She wants to see anything related to the sea on our creations.

We’re (more or less) enjoying the third week of extreme summer. The temperatures haven’t dropped under 30°C since the middle/end of July. Crazy.

So lots of water is a good idea at the moment.

I made a simple nautical card with a cute stamp set … and then I had to use the cute mermaid again (now I just need to frind new friends who also love mermaids on their cards …).

Hallo, ihr Lieben! Es ist der erste Freitag nach unserer Hochzeit … doch erstaunlicherweise geht das Leben einfach weiter.

Und somit findet ihr hier auch wie gewohnt die aktuelle Herausforderung der Daring Cardmakers.

Shabneez hat sich das Thema „Meer“ gewünscht und möchte Karten sehen, die irgendetwas damit zu tun haben.

Das passt natürlich perfekt zu den heißen Sommertemperaturen im Moment!

Ich habe eine einfache, hübsche Karte mit einem tollen Stempelset kreiert …. Und musste dann doch noch einmal die süße kleine Meerjungfrau rauskramen und verwenden. (Jetzt brauche ich nur noch Familie und Freunde, die kitschige Karten genauso zauberhaft finden wie ich…)

Hier ist schon wieder die erste Herausforderung der Daring Cardmakers im August. Und wie immer am ersten Freitag des Monats gibt es ein Inspirationsphoto für euch.
Joanne hat ein sehr sommerliches Bild gewählt und ich habe folgende drei Elemente ausgesucht: Zitrone, Getränk und Kräuter bzw. irgendein Pflänzchen.

Macht es euch kühl! Versteckt euch hinter geschlossenen Rolläden in eurem Bastelzimmer … und nehmt einen Drink mit 😉.
