Hello, everybody! It’s time fort he next challenge of the Daring Cardmakers.

Joanne picked the topic: ABW – anything but white

Use ABW - anything but white - for your card base/background. You could use a chalkboard technique on black cardstock, stamp and emboss for a resist and sponge a colour over the design, add pastel or metallic die cuts over a bright base layer, stencil tone-on-tone or dry emboss coloured cardstock... What can you dream up with ABW for your base?

Funnily most of us created a seaside/underwater scene. Me too 😉

I used my new Lawn Fawn „Critters of the sea“ stamp set and found the cute design with the vellum sea at Emma’s lovely blog. 

I wasn’t too happy about the blue sentiment on the blue card base … well, you could also say it definitely didn’t work out at all. So I made another card with a white card base.

Lustigerweise haben sich viele für eine Meer-,Strand-Unterwasserkarte entschieden. Ich war froh meine neusten Tierchen auszuprobieren. Die tolle Idee für diese Karte, habe ich mir bei Emma abgeschaut. Sie hat jede Menge zauberhafte Kunstwerke auf ihrem Blog.

Hello, everyone! Here is the Daring Cardmakers' challenge.

Shabneez seems to  be in a very summery mood and wants to see tropical cards this week:

bright colours, clashing patterns, palm trees, troipcal birds or flowers etc.

Here is my card: bright colours, pineapples and other citrus fruits.

Shabneez ist schon in Sommerstimmung und möchte tropische Karten sehen: knallige Farben, Palmen, tropische Vögel, Obst etc.

Ich habe mich für das tolle Papier mit den Zitrusfrüchten und Ananas entschieden.
