So this week I'd simply like to see some CANDLES on your cards, whether its just one candle or lots of them - and for any reason you want.

I used a real candle on a card years ago and I still remember that the recipient loved it. So I gave it another go.

Wir möchten KERZEN auf euren Karten sehen!

Vor Jahren habe ich bereits schon einmal eine echte Kerze auf eine Karte gebastelt und ich kann mich erinnern, dass es bei dem Empfänger der Karte sehr gut ankam. Und wenn sich jemand über meine Karte freut, freue ich mich auch. 

Also: auf ein Neues.

DC November Colour Combo Dare

Leo picked a very trendy topic for the Daring Cardmakers this week.

Metallic is a big trend and I decided to make up a combo of different metallic tones mixed with a simple linen white.

You can use as many or as few of the colours as you like.

Here are the gorgeous colours.

DC It's eye boggling

Nat picked a great topic for the Daring Cardmaker's challenge.

I totally love how those little plastic goggly eyes you can pick up in the kids' crafting section can transform a card into something cute, crazy, or downright hilarious.

I want to see you use goggly eyes - of any size and however many you like - on your cards!

You can go all out with the Halloween look in honour of the occasion or you can go with any theme you like - but you need to feature goggly eyes or some other wacky eyes on your cards. :D

Yay. I’ve always loved goggly eyes and have a few stamps that look great with them. Here’s a cute owl.

Diese Woche möchten wir WACKELAUGEN auf euren Kärtchen sehen.

Es ist völlig egal, ob ihr gruselige Gespenster oder niedliche Tierchen mit den Wackelaugen verziert.

(Ja, heute ist Halloween bzw. ja eigentlich Reformationstag, aber wer in Europa verschenkt und verschickt denn Halloweenkarten?! )

I’ve always loved this sentiment since I first came across it during high school. It helped through some not so funny days.

Zum einen könnt ihr eine alte Technik, die ihr seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr benutzt habt, wiederbeleben oder ihr verwendet euren Lieblingsspruch oder –vers auf eurem Kärtchen.

For The Love Of A Good Book

So this week I would like to see a page from an old book used on your card. This can be taken from an old book or if you have a stamp with a script on it you can use that too.

I love reading and I also love using book pages on my cards. 

I am not happy about the photographs though. I’ll try to take some more tomorrow and add them to this blog post. (hopefully there will be morning sunshine on my balcony)
