It’s time for the monthly colour challenge at the Daring Cardmakers.

DC autumnal forest

It was my turn to set the topic at the Daring Cardmakers.

Autumn is my favourite season … so here you go:

If you like it busy and loud all the wine and beer festivals around here are the perfect place to be. If you like it more quiet and relaxed I think that nature, and especially forests, have a lot to offer at the moment.

I want you to be inspired by an

autumnal forest.

You can use autumnal forest colours on your cards or feature anything you can find in a forest like leaves, forest animals, mushrooms, nuts, trees (at least three so that it’s a small forest rather than just a tree J) etc.

Go to your nearest forest for some inspiration or have a look at the cards of the Design Team members.

Der Herbst ist meine absolute Lieblingsjahreszeit!

Wenn man es laut und trubelig mag, sind die ganzen Bier- und Weinfeste ein toller Ort, um den Feierabend oder sogar ein ganzes Wochenende (?!) zu verbringen. Und wenn man es etwas ruhiger und gemütlicher mag, ist jetzt die perfekte Gelegenheit in der Natur unterwegs zu sein und die letzten Sonnenstrahlen einzufangen.

Mein Thema ist

Herbstwald!

Verwendet auf euren Karten die wunderschönen Herbstfarben, die man so langsam im Wald und an Bäumen finden kann oder verwendet ein „Herbstwaldmotiv“, wie beispielsweise Blätter, Pilze, Waldtiere, Nüsse, Bäume usw.

DC stencil revolution

Oops, I guess I was overestimating myself a bit. I am definitely not back in my routine yet and I’m very sorry that I forgot to add a blog post last Friday (and didn’t even notice it until today).

Zuzana picked a great challenge for this week’s dare at the Daring Cardmakers.

Stencil Revolution

My dare is simple, use a stencil on your cards and than play with your paints, inks, mist whatever you like. . If you don't have any stencil in your stash make it yourself with your favourite dies. 

I can't wait to see what you come up with, here is what our design team made for you.  

I had fun with this challenge and used stencils I brought home from New Zealand!

Oh, da habe ich mich aber sehr überschätzt. Ich habe bei weitem noch nicht in eine Alltags- und Blogroutine zurück gefunden. Es tut mir sehr leid, dass ich die Karte für Zuzanas Thema der Daring Cardmakers hier noch nicht veröffentlicht habe.

Bis Freitag habt ihr noch die Chance eure Karten zu verlinken, auf denen ihr mit Malerschablonen gearbeitet habt.

Ich könnte gleich die Schätze ausprobieren, die ich mir aus Neuseeland mitgebracht habe!

Food Glorious Food

Create a card that features some form of food related design. It can be as simple as a food image or you could use some kind of food wrapping in your card or make up a punny food related greeting. So long as there's something food related on your card it's all good! When you've finished don't forget to pop back here and share what you've made.

 New Zealand/Neuseeland

I’m back from my trip around the world to the end of the world. It was great and I enjoyed every minute of being so far my everyday life and exploring a beautiful country.

Ich bin zurück von meiner langen Reise einmal um die Welt bis ans Ende der Welt. Es war großartig und ich habe jede Minute in diesem wunderschönen Land und weit weg von meinem Alltag sehr genossen.
