DC: July colour combination

Lythan picked great colours for the Daring Cardmakers' July Colour combination dare. I love the bright and contrasting colours.

And here’s my card.

DC: forgotten treasures

It was my turn to pick the topic for this week’s challenge at the Daring Cardmakers:

Have a close look at your craft stash and dig out those
Forgotten Treasures
Craft items (stamps, paper, embossing folders etc.) that you bought or got as a present … that are still waiting to be used because you completely forgot about them or never found the time to use them.

I fell in love with this stamp when I first saw it … and around Christmas time I finally bought it.

It sat on my desk for a few weeks but I didn’t know what to do with it and didn’t find the time to “experiment” with it – so I finally put it in my stamp drawer. Recently I was looking for something, rummaging in my drawers and found the stamp again. I’m still thinking about different ways to use it but I already like the first card I made with it.
To align the stamp I used my self-made stamp positioner (thanks brothers for the lego bricks).

DC: Itty Bitty Jar

Beckie had a great idea for our weekly challenge at the Daring Cardmakers:

This week's theme is ......

Itty Bitty Jar

More than likely you have a jar or container that sits on your craft table where you pop all those little bits that are just left on the desk and don't have a home, or we run out of time to do a proper clear up :)  So the dare this week is to make a card featuring at least 5 items from that jar!

My itty bitty jar is actually a small pizza box which looks like this …

I grabbed a few items that had the same colour and assembled them on a white card blank. That’s was really easy, great fun, I like the result AND my pizza box has more space for new leftovers now … I’m happy =).

Perfekt. Was will frau mehr?! =)
