I was inspired by the butterflies, the colour combination
and the string/tassels.
I created the circle in the background with distress oxide
inks and added die cut butterflies and matching sequins.

Men Folk Inspired
As it is fathers day on 18th June I would like to see a masculine card to
celebrate the men folk. It doesn't have to be for fathers day but I know
we all struggle with a more masculine card so lets have some made for the card
stash.
I fell in love with this cool camping stamp set right away …
to me it feels very masculine: being outdoors, doing active things and
experiencing adventures (maybe even meeting big animals in the woods).
I a book binding card fort he first time. (Here’s a tutorial for that).
And I used the other stamps on this Z-fold-card.

Everything’s coming up roses
Roses are one of the two birth flowers for June — this week we’d like to see
roses somewhere on your project. As an alternative if you’re not in the mood
for flowers, yellow roses symbolise friendship so include yellow in
your colour palette with any image or technique you like. Extra virtual
brownie points if you manage yellow roses!

It’s already June … and summer is finally starting. I love
the higher temperatures and enjoy the sunshine on my face so much đ!
Kathy picked a great picture for the Daring Cardmakers‘ challenge:
I like the mediterranean vibes of the picture and used the
mosaic, some flowers and a vase on my card.
As you can see, I used the same paper pad as last week. And
it looks quite different this time, doesn’t it?

Seashells on the Seashore!
Create a card with seashells. Use images, dies,
stamps or even real seashells on your cards this week. You can even draw or
doodle your own seashells. Have fun creating !!
I love beaches and water and seashells and can’t wait to
visit the sea in summer.
To celebrate my anticipation I had a lot of fun with finally
using the pretty Action paper pad and my seashell dies:
I created a fun fold card.
And also decorated the inside.

I want you to celebrate and enjoy
SUNSHINE
and hopefully this will encourage the sun to show up a bit
more often in the next few weeks and months đ.
Put a sun, bright yellow circles or sun rays on
your card. It might be a sun as a focal point or in the background or as part
of a scene.
I made cards with this huge slimline die and love the sun
as a focal point:
