DC August Elemental Inspiration

It’s the first Friday in August. Summer holidays are here … and I already completely lost my everyday routine =)

So I am a bit late for the Daring Cardmaker's weekly challenge as well.

Svenja picked a really cool picture from a flea market. Be inspired and use at least three elements from the picture on your card.

 

 

I was inspired by lots of wood, old games (just as Monopoly), piling up lots of different things (in my case: patterned paper) and something from an animal (a feather I found in the park).

What’s your inspiration?

Es ist der erste Freitag im August. Die Sommerferien sind hier … und meine Alltagsroutine ist mir schon völlig abhanden gekommen. Deswegen bin ich heute auch etwas spät dran. 

Wie an jedem ersten Freitag eines Monats gibt es bei den Daring Cardmakers heute eine Photoinspiration. Svenja hat ein wundervolles Flohmarktbild heraus gesucht. Lasst euch davon inspirieren und bringt mindestens drei Elemente des Bildes auf eurer Karte unter.

Ich wurde inspiriert vom Holz, alten Spielen, einer Ansammlung vieler verschiedener Dinge (in meinem Fall: viele gemusterte Papiere) und etwas von einem Tier (eine Feder, die ich im Kurpark gefunden habe).

DC New Beginnings

This Friday Nat picked the topic for the Daring Cardmakers.

It's my turn to set the dare this week and well, today happens to be the day that one chapter of my daytime career ends and another begins. So, inspired by 

"New Beginnings"

and everything they entail I challenged my fellow teamies to create a card on this very theme.

Whether new beginnings in work, love, family, life in general or in celebration of a new adventure, or simply sharing inspirational and uplifting words of wisdom - the choice is yours!

As I am invited to a wedding (hip hip hooray) in a few weeks I decided to make a wedding card for the couple who will begin their life as husband and wife on the 15^th of August.

Nat hat diesen Freitag das Thema für die Daring Cardmakers gewählt. Da sie im Moment viele Änderungen in ihrem Leben hat, möchten wir Karten sehen, die „neue Anfänge“ feiern.

Egal ob neues Baby, neue Wohnung, neuer Job, neuer Familienstand …

Da ich am 15. auf eine Hochzeit eingeladen bin (juhuuuuu) habe ich ein Hochzeitskärtchen für das Paar gebastelt, das an diesem Tag in ihr neues Leben als Mann und Frau startet.

Hello, I’m back. I moved houses and got my internet access and telephone line half an hour ago =).

The dare is to make a birthday card which is ROCK themed, this could be music or lots of bling to represent precious rocks.  I would also like to see the colour RUBY somewhere too.

Ich bin zurück. Gerade eben habe ich den Techniker verabschiedet, der in meiner neuen Wohnung das Wlan und Telefon eingerichtet hat.

DC Elemental Inspiration July

It’s the first Friday in July and Jo picked a beautiful picture for the Daring Cardmaker's challenge.

I chose the picture as it's light and summery - perfect for the fantastic weather we've been having;

This week as with every first week of a new month we would like you to pick out a minimum of three elements from the picture to design your card with.

I was inspired by the black handwriting, the pink flowers and the golden accents.
