DC: Ingredients

This week there’s a recipe challenge at the Daring Cardmakers.

Use these ingredients to create a fabulous card:
An Aperture of some kind
Something beginning with the letter P
A Die-cut or Punchie
The colour Blue

Here’s my card.
I finally used one of my dies to create an aperture.
The presents in the basket start with a P.
The tag for the sentiment is a die-cut
and luckily my favourite papers have some blue in them (and it’s my personal challenge to use a different paper pad next week! Promised!).

My week was nice but busy as usual … and yesterday as a perfect start into my weekend I got these beautiful flowers. My class participated in the nationwide "Girl's Day/Boy's Day" on Thursday where the girls are supposed to get to know typical male jobs and the boys typical female jobs. One of the boys worked at a florist and created this bouquet with his “boss”. I already know where I’ll send the indecisive boys next year *hihihi* ….

DC: Child's Play

Sharon picked the following dare for this week’s challenge at the Daring Cardmaker's:
Child's Play

I'd like to see cards for little people - it can be for a new arrival, young child, or even a sulky teenager!

I used my “party animals” stamp from Penny Black, which makes me happy every time I use it.

(I fell in love with the stamp a few years ago when I saw it in a magazine … When I visited my British  friend last year we also went to her local craft store. And there was my stamp! Waiting for me all these years on a shelf among many many other stamps. It was the first item in my basket and I couldn’t believe it when they told me at the cash register that the stamp was 50% off. That was the happy beginning of a great friendship =).)

DC: April showers

Yay! This week it was my turn to pick a topic for the Daring Cardmakers.

April showers bring May flowers!
It seems that the snowy season is finally over as we already have had lots of rain this week.
So, this week I dare you to use raindrops, puddles, umbrellas, rainbows … on your cards.

Here’s my card… and have a look at our blog to see what fabulous cards the other team members created.

Juhuuu!

DC: April's Colour Combination

Gez picked coral and aqua for April’s colour challenge at the Daring Cardmakers.

It’s a lovely combination.
But as I was running out of time and I just couldn’t find any aqua paper I cheated a bit and used teal instead. Hope you don’t mind. (it’s as close as I could manage =))
