Life is a beach ...

An irgendeinem Strand!

Summer is finally here … and it’s so hot that I wish we would live closer to the beach. Any beach! But the nearest sea is a 5 hours car drive from here (North Sea). Well, good that I bought these seaside stamps recently. .. at least I feel a bit closer to the beach when I look at them.

I won! Ich habe gewonnen!

Look what I found in my mail box today: My prize!!! Thank you so very much, Lythan and the Daring Cardmakers team. I always enjoy taking part in your challenges.

The stamp set was definitely worth the wait and I'll try to use it on my next card.

the prize: an alphabet stamp set from Imagine That

I also found this gorgeous card in the envelope. It's just beautiful!

DC: Patterned Paper Mania

I was really eager for a crafting afternoon this weekend and tried to tackle the Daring Cardmakers Challenge „Patterned Paper Mania”. I succeeded in using 6 different patterned papers.

However I really felt the need to make a monochromatic card afterwards … maybe I’m getting too old for too colourful cards =).
